Onekama Ski Team
Attention ski lovers ~ The Onekama ski team is coming together and they are searching for students who love to ski.  It is open to all students 7th - 12th grade.  You must have your own equipment. Between practices and races, students need to commit themselves to 5 days a week.  Sign up in the office.  
Fall 2009 Community Education Classes
The fall community ed flyer will be in mailboxes county wide beginning Saturday, October 3rd.  It will also appear as an insert in the Manistee News Advocate on Wednesday, October 7th.  This fall's lineup feature new classes:  Beginning Woodshop at Onekama, and for those parents who want to brush up on their math skills, Homework Help for Parents at Bear Lake.  Of course, favorite classes such as Yoga, Quilting, Dog Obedience and new class last year Glass Bead Making are being offered.  Free class, Funeral Pre Planning sponsored by Terwilliger Funeral Home, is also being offered.  Be sure to check out the flyer when it arrives to find your favorite class!

Registration will begin Monday, October 5th, by e-mail, phone, fax or U.S. postal.  Classes begin the week of October 12th.  If you have any questions, please contact Jenice Momber, Community Ed Director, at 231.477.5353, ext. 304.
